Cape:
Because we are located in Cape Girardeau Missouri and care deeply about introducing the people of Southeastern Missouri to Jesus Christ.
Reformed:
We agree with the historical views of the Reformation. We are rescued from our sinfulness by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus alone. We are called to live for God’s glory alone and we learn about all of this in the Bible alone. Additionally, Reformed has another meaning for us. We want to be a reforming church. We want to develop a lifestyle where we are constantly reevaluating our thoughts and actions by knowing the whole person of Jesus more.
Presbyterian:
We exist in the Elder authority and accountability form of church government as described in the Bible in Acts and 1 Timothy.
Church:
A church isn’t a building; it is the global people of God who believe in the name of Jesus. Here in Cape, we are a tiny corner of the world-wide rescue story God is telling.
